Comedy. Neat.

Certain drinks have a way of making even seasoned bargoers come off as sloppy amateurs — i.e., if you're reading this while drinking something that contains Malibu Rum, consider yourself a newbie. Whiskey, however, does not suffer from this tainted rep. Perhaps Mark Twain said it best: "Too much of anything is bad, but too much of good whiskey is barely enough."

There’s a two-drink minimum when the Jameson Comedy Tour stops in tonight at the Improv Paradise Live. Choose your poison wisely, lest fellow showgoers sniff something pink in the air. The lineup includes comedians on the verge: Michael Loftus, Steve Byrne, Danny Bevins, and Pete Correale, who is Jim Breuer’s co-host on Sirius XM’s “Breuer Unleashed.”

The fun starts at 8 p.m. at 5700 Seminole Way in Hollywood. Tickets cost $15.90. Visit improvftl.com.
