Coming OUT for Female Empowerment

"OUTlet: Plugging Women Into the Arts -- A Conference for and by Young Lesbian, Bi, Trans, Queer, Questioning Women and Our Allies" isn't just the world's longest title for an event ever. It's also a smorgasbord of activities for women of all sexual orientations, a conference that addresses female empowerment at all ages. Attendees will be invited to go to several workshops like "Hire Me! Secrets to Starting a Successful Career" and "LBT Power Queers Panel." Not only that, but those in attendance will have the option to march for Safe Schools South Florida at the Miami Beach Gay Pride Parade on that Sunday. The OUTlet 2013 conference takes place Saturday at the Pride Center at Equality Park, located at 2040 N. Dixie Highway in Wilton Manors. The event is free and begins at 9 a.m. and goes until 3:30 p.m. To register, visit Call 786-529-2542.
