Crawl of the Dead

Every day, you see living people walking around tending to their business. What you don't see often is a horde of the living dead. This Friday, Lake Worth is going to be surrounded by walking, wasted zombies with the Beach Zombie Rampage: Kick'n It in the LDUB-Pub Crawl. Starting at 7 p.m., a zombie registration center is being set up at South Shores Tavern & Patio Bar. Each walking dead will receive a zombie shelter map, pointing out undead-friendly establishments -- basically, with deals on food and drinks. Zombie face painters will be on-site to help novices go for the perfect ghastly look. Filming will take place for a local zombie flick, and a costume contest will happen later in the night. The cost to attend is $15 per person. South Shores Tavern & Patio Bar is located 502 Lucerne Ave. in Lake Worth. Call 786-800-9097, or visit For face-painting appointments, call 786-800-9097.
