Dig n' Dogs: Bullies Against Bullying

Tom and Jerry cartoons have given bulldogs a bad rap. Bulldogs aren’t a bunch of macho cat tormentors; they’re just big-boned softies with zero tolerance for bullying. From 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, organic, eco-friendly DIG restaurant in Delray Beach will team up with Bullies Against Bullying for DIG n’ Dogs 2, an afternoon fundraising event with man’s best friend. Bullies Against Bullying is a local bulldogcentric anti-bullying organization that also supports animal rescue efforts and promotes awareness about dog breed discrimination. Bring your well-behaved, four-legged BFF for an afternoon of food, drinks, and tasteful yet biting Michael Vick jokes. DIG is located at 5199 W. Atlantic Ave. in Delray Beach. Admission is $20 in advance via PayPal at the Bullies Against Bullying website or $30 at the door. Price includes admission, a drink, appetizers, an auction ticket, and a swag bag. Visit bulliesagainstbullying.com. Note: No retractable flexi-leads or choke/prong collars permitted.
