Don’t Fail, Dolphins

This time last year, after going 1-15 the previous season, Dolphins fans knew that winning just a few more games would make the season a success. Fast forward to this year, when we find the Dolphins reigning as AFC East champions and any step backwards would be a disappointment. See, it’s not all roses when you post a ten-game improvement: the Fins will have to face a slew of powerhouse teams this year as a result. After going up against a suddenly dangerous Falcons team, the Fins host the Colts on the big stage tonight. Featuring lopsided battles like Manning v Pennington and Wayne v Ginn, this game will serve as a litmus test for the Dolphins’ year ahead. Win (or at least stay competitive), and an AFC championship appearance won’t seem too unlikely. Lose, and it’s grasping for the wild card again. Kickoff is at 8:30 p.m. Tickets start at $41.
