Inside every fashionista lurks a recessionista — even if for one night only. Let Thursday be the day you become both bargain hunter and boutique buff when Shop Miami sets up at the Design District’s Moore Building.

The four-hour, New York-style sample sale features 40 local designers and comes complete with bargains, booze and beauty treatments courtesy of Lace Nail Lab. Between 6 and 11 p.m., stock up on knits from Krelwear, eco-friendly fashions from Art of Shade, funky favorites by Gold Saturn, bikinis by Amaya Swimwear, and accessories by MAR Jewelry Collection. Then, because shopping and stiff drinks go together like handbags and shoes, celebrate those slashed price tags with libations from 42 Below and Ménage á Trois Wine.

Dudes, don’t despair - there will be duds for you, too. Or girls, if you and your beau prefer to pass up the madness, snag the $40 VIP tickets ($30 in advance) and score your goodies (and a gift bag) at the one-hour pre-sale. Regular tickets are $20 at the door, $10 in advance. Bring cash only to 4040 NE Second Ave. in Miami. Call 212-255-7300, or visit genart.org.
