Drinking with Celebs

Ready to take shots and drink cocktails with Boca's local celebs? In an effort to benefit the mission of the Best Foot Forward Foundation, Boca Chamber Festival Days are hosting local celebs Troy McLellan, president and CEO of the Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce; Randy Nobles, 2014 chair of the Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce; Leslie Glickman of Yoga Journey; and returning champion J.C. Perrin at Wyndham Boca Raton for a Battle of the Bartenders. Although there are many Festival Day events to choose from during August, where each day involves a series of recreational events across the city, Best Foot Forward's fundraiser continues to remain a favorite. Despite their influence in Boca, the celeb bartenders will learn the tricks of the trade from Wyndham's in-house bartenders. Patrons can choose from wine, beer, and a specialty signature drink. All tips and a portion of ticket sales from the evening will be donated to the foundation to help support youth in foster care. Kick back and have a drink with the city's finest on Friday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Wyndham Hotel, which is located at 1950 Glades Road in Boca Raton. Reservations are recommended. Tickets cost $30 at the door and include two drinks and hors d'oeuvres. Visit bestfoot.org, or call 561-470-8300.
Fri., Aug. 22, 5:30-7:30 p.m., 2014
