Ease Recession Depression With the Jove

The Recession has you worried. You might lose your job and your house. You might buy toxic toothpaste from China. But there’s really nothing you can do about it. So why be in a constant state of misery? Instead, enjoy some laughs at the expense of our convoluted and morally bankrupt financial system, compliments of South Florida’s The Jove Comedy Experience. The six-person troupe has put together its own version of a Stimulus Package, which, like its previous performances, will be a night of improv, sketch, and musical comedy directed at bailing you out of that other kind of depression. What’s the difference between someone who lost everything in Vegas and an investment banker? Find out Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. at the Atlantic Theater, situated at 6743 W. Indiantown Rd. in Jupiter. Tickets cost $15. Call 561-575-4942, or visit thejove.com.
Fri., May 1, 8 p.m.; Sat., May 2, 8 p.m., 2009
