Filthy, Filthy Comedy

Tracy Morgan, who needs no introduction as one of the stars of Saturday Night Live and 30 Rock, is bringing his act to West Palm Beach’s Improv Comedy Club and Dinner Theatre, a frequent stopover for celebrity funnymen. Warning: Morgan is in the business of unalloyed crudity. Deformities, crabs, and elephantine clitorises: nothing’s off-limits. “Women love to get their assholes ate, especially after they get their nails done,” he says. And that’s one of the tamest lines we could find in his standup videos. Some of his riffs are just too wicked to reproduce here.

But he’s got acute insights too. “Batman. Get the fuck out of here. That’s another attempt by the white dude to make himself super. You don’t see no black or Puerto Rican superheroes.” Good point. Tracy Morgan performs at 8 and again at 10:30 p.m. Friday, 7 and 9 p.m. Saturday, and 7 p.m. Sunday at the Improv Comedy and Dinner Theatre (550 S. Rosemary Ave., Ste. 250, West Palm Beach). Must be 21 or older. There’s a two-drink minimum. Tickets cost $37.28. Call 561-833-1812, or visit palmbeachimprov.com.
Fri., June 18, 8 & 10:30 p.m.; Sat., June 19, 7 & 9 p.m.; Sun., June 20, 7 p.m., 2010
