For Those About to Rock, Who Want to Rock Even More

If the Damned Things show at Revolution doesn't provide you with ample opportunity to show off all of your tattoos or if you're simply not done going berserk, don't fret. You'll have more time to strut your rocker stuff -- and go nuts to more raging bands -- next door at the Poorhouse (110 SW Third Ave., Fort Lauderdale) after the amps get cut at Revolution. The Inked Magazine Tour Aftershow will feature local rock bands Furious Dudes!, Ether, Jolly Badfellow, and Goddamn Hustle.

Your scary tattoos and masochistic eardrums will feel right at home at the Poorhouse. Not only will you and your metal-rific attributes be among your peers, but by virtue of the place's hilarious location, you'll have the chance to put your darkness to good use by standing out front and freaking out the pretty, waxy people crossing between America's Backyard and whatever other bars they hang out at on Himmarshee. The show is free and begins at 10 p.m. Call 954-522-5145, or visit
