From Glee to the Big Screen

Chris Colfer, known for his award-winning turn as Kurt Hummel on the TV show Glee has written and starred in a film called Struck By Lightening. As if that doesn’t make you feel bad enough, he’s only 22. And he’s talented (just ask his Golden Globe). Although the movie premiers later this year it’s available to Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival (FLiFF) members to see on Sunday at 8pm at Cinema Paradiso located at 503 Southeast 6th Street in Fort Lauderdale. While the event is only free to members, anyone can become a FLiFF member; the cost for students is $35, $85 for non-students and $135 for two. The cost goes up from there and can be found on their website. Memberships include discounts for movies and popcorn, advanced-screenings of films, free films on selected dates, and more. Visit or call 954-760-9898.
