Wait no more all ye art fanatics, for this weekend over 100 high-end artists from around the world will hawk their wares once again at the
Museum of Art Fort Lauderdales National Art Festival. Sure, the festival ducked out for a while, but hey so do we when we seek a little revamping. Head downtown to gaze at paintings, sculptures, glass, mixed media creations, ceramics, metalwork, photography, jewelry, and more. Even if you arent prepared to bring home a masterpiece, bring some money for eats.
The Festival takes place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Huizenga Plaza, found at 1 E. Las Olas Blvd. in Fort Lauderdale, and along the Riverwalk promenade. A suggested $5 per person entrance donation is requested, which also includes admission into the Museum where works from the top 13 artists in each category will be displayed. Proceeds benefit the Museums Studio Arts Program. Call 954-525-5500, or visit moafl.org.
