IWAN (Independent Working Artist Network) will host its latest fabulous foray into the creative arts on Saturday with the Itty Bitty Blazar Gala Part IV, where local thread-lovers can go to get their fix. The gala’s centerpiece is a “Fashion Through the Ages” runway show hosted by Steve Bristol, who, according to the event’s Facebook page, is better-known as “The Wormhole Time Traveling Pimp.” There will also be live performances by local music acts and dance companies, hair and makeup demos, visual art, and, of course, vendors galore. The vendors are a select top crop from local vintage, jewelry, and fashion outlets and creative individuals. The fashionably fabulous gala will take place from 7 p.m. to midnight at IWAN’s warehouse arts space, the Bubble (810 NE Fourth Ave., Fort Lauderdale). Entry is $10, with complimentary drinks included. Oh yeah, and “avante-garde/glam/rock & roll” attire is requested. Call 954-562-3804, or visit independentworkingartistnetwork.com.
