Happy Buddha

It's that time of year again. You know, the time to celebrate Palm Beach County's first micro brewpub, the Funky Buddha Lounge. This month marks Funky Buddha's four-year anniversary, to be exact, and as they do every year, the owners will be dedicating an entire day to the most important thing they can think of: beer. On Saturday, the brewpub in Boca Raton will offer a release of some of its most popular brews, including -- but not limited to -- Italian Cookie Brown, Carrot Cake Wheat, Rum Raisin Imperial Stout, Handsome Devil Barleywine, Hazelnut Espresso Piiti, Belgian Braggot, Rich Uncle Pennybags Porter, Dread Pirate Roberts, Last Snow Porter, Maple Bacon Coffee Porter, and various Berliners. The party starts at 4 p.m., but special releases will be given a staggered release at 7, 8, and 9 p.m. Stick around all night and you'll also have a chance to participate in an exclusive raffle at midnight. The Funky Buddha Four Year Anniversary Party will take place from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. at 2621 N. Federal Highway in Boca Raton. Visit thefunkybuddha.com, or call 561-368-4643.
