Hello, broken bones!
FRI 10/29
The mountain bikers in Club Mud say it best when they say, "Time to celebrate the return of Standard Time -- when the snowbirds return, the days are cruelly shortened, and the beautiful weather taunts us as we leave work in the dark." Naturally, there is only one way for Club Mud to celebrate this not-so-joyous occasion. Put on your night gear and join them as they "collectively give the finger to Standard Time." Wear a Halloween costume and you'll receive some candy (left over from last Halloween). Get there by 8 p.m. to sign releases, and so on. The ride starts promptly at 8:30. This "Halloweenish Night Ride" takes place at Quiet Waters Park (401 S. Powerline Rd., Deerfield Beach). Join Club Mud by signing up at www.clubmud.com or at the event. Cost: $10. -- Deirdra Funcheon
