Every third Saturday of the month, FAT Village “idea agency” and production house C&I Studios opens its doors to the public and hosts the area’s topnotch bands. June’s edition of “Live at C&I Studios” will be a singular treat as the photographic and film-editing studio is bringing in two acts that rarely perform in South Florida, Fauna Halo and Hoyle. Fauna Halo is a South Florida native who spends her time in Nashville. She constructs Regina Spek-tor-inspired delicate harmonies over xylophone and keyboard strokes. Making the drive from Orlando, sextet Hoyle mixes introspective Americana with emotional indie rock — think the National with a Southern twist. These two acts alone, performing in South Florida, would present a rare treat, but the minds from C&I Studios have more in store for attendees. Rounding out the evening will be Fort Lauderdale native Jacob Jeffries. Although Jeffries performs around town quite often, witnessing his piano-driven pop majesty never gets old. This night of brilliant artistry takes place on Saturday at 8 p.m. at C&I studios, located at 541 NW First Ave. in Fort Lauderdale. Tickets cost $6, or $4 for those who can prove via smartphone that they are Facebook fans of the studio. Visit c-istudios.com, or call 954-357-3934.
