Hello Fluffy

Where haven't you seen Gabriel Iglesias at this point? And for that matter, should it be any surprise that he's the first guest on the 2014 roster at the Fort Lauderdale Improv? In case you're scratching your head at this point, just wondering who this could be -- think fluffy. For starters, Iglesias is one of Comedy Central's MVPs, thanks to his two-hour comedy special featured two consecutive weekends this past April, Gabriel Iglesias: Aloha Fluffy. You can prep yourself for Iglesias' humor by picking up a copy of the comedy special, along with his first two DVD specials, Hot & Fluffy and I'm Not Fat...I'm Fluffy. Last, rest assured that we wouldn't lead you in the wrong direction, because if Channing Tatum personally recruited Iglesias for a role in the hit summer film Magic Mike, then you're clearly in good hands. Iglesias has a comedic style that is well-received by people of all ages, a fact demonstrated through his animated storytelling, parodies, characters, and unforgettable sound effects. Catch "Fluffy" on his opening night at the Fort Lauderdale Improv, located at 5700 Seminole Way, Fort Lauderdale, on Thursday. Tickets cost $40 and can be purchased by calling the box office at 954-981-5653 or visiting ftl.improv.com. Two-drink minimum per person; 18 and over.
