His World's a Stage; we're here to watch

Michael McKeever's name should ring a few bells with local theater nerds, and if it doesn't, take this week's debut of The Whole Caboodle to get up to speed. McKeever, a South Florida-based playwright and actor, has a long list of accolades to hang by his name, including several from this paper and its sister publication in Miami. The current production running in Boca Raton shows off a collection of humorous short plays written by McKeever, who often draws inspiration from his quirky South Florida surroundings. The Whole Caboodle runs Thursday through February 24. Shows are 7:30 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays and 3 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Performances take place in the Mizner Park Cultural Arts Center, located on the second floor at 201 Plaza Real in Boca Raton. Tickets cost $35 to $40, and all seats are reserved. Thursdays-Saturdays, 7:30 p.m.; Saturdays, Sundays, 3 p.m. Starts: Jan. 31. Continues through Feb. 24, 2013
