Iron Mike goes to Broadway

The fact that Mike Tyson’s only legitimate acting experience is his famous cameo in the comedic romp The Hangover hasn’t deterred the once-undisputed heavyweight champion of the world from concocting his own one-man Broadway show. This is no joke, folks. Cowritten by his wife, Kiki, and directed by Spike Lee, Mike Tyson: The Undisputed Truth generated a fair amount of buzz when it debuted this summer in New York City. Now, the oft-misunderstood fighter brings his show to Coconut Creek, where fans (according to the news release) can receive greater insight on “one of the most complicated men ever to wear the heavyweight belt.”
