It’s a Dance-aversary

A tiny dancer demonstrates her first plié on stage. And a dedicated young woman masters the pirouette en pointe in the spotlight. Dancers young and old, beginners and advanced, will take the stage with Dance Dimensions as it presents its 30th-anniversary spring performance, Come Dance With Me, at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. In this year-end showcase, talented students, ages 3 through adult, will share their love and passion for dance with the community. For 30 years, Dance Dimensions has performed throughout South Florida with the philosophy that dance is for everyone. The faculty strives to present students with age- and level-appropriate curricula, teaching the history of the art form as well as inspiring students with their own talents. Let the dancers fill you with inspiration at the Amaturo Theater, located at 201 SW Fifth Ave. in Fort Lauderdale. Performances are Saturday at 1 and 5:30 p.m. and Sunday at 5 p.m. Tickets cost $19.
