But Kulick is also a 50-ish actress. And as she says in the notes to her new show: There are too few substantial roles for women of a certain age. Her solution: Write and stage Almost Tamed: Tales of Mayhem, Motion, and Malarky, a totally mixed-up program of six short plays about jailed females, a girl and her bird, 92-year-old fraternal twins, politically conflicted lesbians, and ladies looking for love.
Directed by Stuart Meltzer, Kulick and costar Casey Dressler will perform Almost Tamed Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. through April 25 at the Andrews Living Art Studio (23 NW Fifth St., Fort Lauderdale).
