Make Black Friday More Colorful

You don’t view shopping as a contact sport, but you do love the thrill of the hunt. Because of this conundrum you’re conflicted each time Black Friday rolls around. Jezebel (1980 E. Sunrise Blvd., Gateway Plaza, Fort Lauderdale) understands. The store – a 20-plus year staple in Fort Lauderdale – would never torture you with 5 a.m. limited-time blow-outs on cheap crap that nobody wants; it’s a loving place (and it smells so good!).

This year, get your holiday shopping done in one, pleasant stop at the Jezebel Day After Thanksgiving Sale. It starts at a much more bearable hour (9 a.m.) than the others, and it’s jam-packed full of awesome stuff marked down to next-to-nothing. Stocking stuffers, office gifts, baby presents, toys for boys, and girlie treats galore all cover the clearance tables, only to be replenished with more as the day wears on. It isn’t uncommon to find $45 items that you wanted last week marked down to 5 or 10 bucks on this magical day. The best part? Everything for sale is salivation-worthy, and everyone who works there is nice – try finding that at the mall. Grab a girlfriend, sister, or patient spouse and make a morning out of it -- and please, ladies, no pushing.
