The Norton Museum is a museum of many hats. Not literally; it doesn’t actually have a hat display (though it would be awesome if it did). What we mean is that the Norton is called a Museum of Art, but it doesn’t limit exhibits to painting or sculpture. Music, film, hands-on projects, and performances are all part of the mix. On Thursday, during the Art After Dark series, Midlife Crysis will perform, and visitors can make their very own tambourines in a DIY class led by Marcy Koch. The film Art: 21- Boundaries will be shown; it explores taboo subject matter, groundbreaking uses of media, and thoughts on the ever-changing human body. Blues master J.P. Soars closes out the night. The Norton Museum of Art is located at 1451 S. Olive Ave., West Palm Beach. The event goes from 5 to 9 p.m. Visit norton.org/artafterdark.
