It's time to break out your neon and head to Green Room for a weekend-before-school highlighter dance party. DJ Dublin and resident DJ Tonx pump indie and electronic dance music while you dance the night away. Blacklights ignite neon shirts, accessories, and trim on partygoers. Do you know what lights up really well? Bunnies! Rabbits of all shapes, sizes, and colors are invited to shake a puffy tail with the cool kids. Don't have neon? No worries. Come in white and use some of Green Room's oodles of highlighters to decorate your duds (or your friends'). Grab a glow stick for some old-school, time-honored raving. Visit Keegan Hitchcock as a glow-themed masterpiece body painting is created throughout the night. Ogle the current art display titled "Under the Sea." Green Room is Fort Lauderdale's dance club, concert venue, and art gallery for the hip. It combines the art forms of music and 2-D in a unique creative event. Green Room is located at 109 SW Second Ave. in Fort Lauderdale. Doors open at 10 p.m. Saturday. Call 954-449-1025, or visit greenroomlive.com.
