Nightlife for Grownups

Truth is, there’s no shortage of live music in South Florida. But sometimes, going to a smoke-filled hipster club to watch your friend’s cousin’s band play just won’t cut it. If you are in the mood to class it up this weekend, take the opportunity to see a husband-and-wife team that’s filled to the brim with blues and oozing jazz. Toots Lorraine and the Traffic are making their way down south from Jacksonville to bring nothing but cool grooves and chill vibes to the stage — a welcome upgrade from the familiar. Toots Lorraine and the Traffic will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Arts Garage, located at 180 NE First St. in Delray Beach. Ticket cost $25 to $35 in advance and go up $5 at the door. Call 561-450-6357, or visit artsgarage.org.
