Oui, Oui, Paris

Oh là là, it’s a French party at the Delray Beach Playhouse. Get ready to pop bottles of French bubbly and sing along to some transatlantic delights during A Musical Midnight in Paris. Bestselling French recording star Liz Brady will entertain audiences with her coquettish croons. Born in Egypt to French parents, the chanteuse was a con - temporary of Brigitte Bardot in the ’60s, and although Brady didn’t achieve the same level of notoriety as Bardot, her work with duo Les Scarabées endures. Brady will deliver impassioned renditions of Francophone favorites such as “La Vie en Rose” and “C’est Si Bon,” along with her hit, a French pop version of Glenn Miller’s standard “In the Mood.” There will be plenty of surprises too. Toast to the New Year with bit of French class. Showtimes are 2 and 8 p.m., with a champagne, wine, and cheese reception an hour prior, this Wednesday at the Delray Beach Playhouse, 950 NW Ninth St., Delray Beach. Tickets cost $50 for the matinee and $70 for the evening show. Call 561-272-1281, or visit delraybeachplayhouse.com.
