Were totally convinced that everything looks more impressive blasted across a 40-foot-tall IMAX screen. So what happens when images that would awe you on your 13 Crapavox like the vast, lush stretches of marshland and islands that make up the Okavango Delta in Botswana make their way to the most ginormous of screens? Youd probably implode right there in your chair, leaving only a small pile of highly impressed remnants. While this poses a problem for the dude that cleans the theater after each show, its definitely not a bad way to go out. If youre still game, head down to IMAX (401 SW Second St., Fort Lauderdale) for their latest mind-blowing showcase, African Adventure 3D: Safari in the Okavango. Botswanas life-sustaining Delta is already large enough to be seen from space, so just imagine its expansive lagoons and majestic wildlife at IMAX size. Yes, implosion is imminent. Tickets cost $12.
