Party Amid the Plants

Bring some of your go-green friends and come out in your best garden-chic attire Wednesday at Flagler Garden to celebrate A Moonlit Affair. Partake in this event not only to celebrate Fort Lauderdale’s first community garden’s receiving $30,000 from the Fort Lauderdale CRA but also to help raise even more money to complete phases two and three of the fundraising process. Sip on signature cocktails by Zonin Prosecco while listening to DJ spins by PJ Ware. Munch on delicious appetizers provided by Whole Foods Market, and participate in a green-inspired silent auction. Revolutionary previews of the garden will also be taking place this green evening. When completed, the Flagler Garden will not only have a 365-day growing season but will also have garden plots and paths, rain barrels, and hanging areas as well as private event services. Local sponsors Gibraltar Private Bank & Trust, Whole Foods Market, and Exposed PR will make sure this garden bash is a blast. The event takes place Wednesday from 7 to 10 p.m. at Flagler Garden, located at 441 NE Third Ave. in Fort Lauderdale.
