Although it may seem a bit curious that Budweiser is the title sponsor of a free-spirited music-meets-wellness festival in Overtown celebrating “our collective soul and the magnetic energy that unites us as a planet,” it really isn’t too far-fetched. After all, the “King of All Beers” is an alcoholic beverage company, and like magnetic energy, alcohol brings people together.

On Saturday, Grand Central Park (700 N. Miami Ave., Miami) will play host to the Budweiser One Love Nutrifest, an 11-hour marathon of social consciousness, community, and environmental awareness set to the music of reggae artists Luciano, Jahfe, and several others. The festival’s main focus is to improve the quality of life of underprivileged citizens via community education, involvement, and volunteer action. And they’re aiming to spread the message as eco-friendly as possible. Saturday’s event is zero-waste, a testament to the festival’s commitment to environmental sustainability. Festivalgoers are also encouraged to bring at least two cans of food to benefit Curley’s House, an organization to help feed low-income families, seniors, at-risk kids, and more. Tickets cost $30.
