French isn't called a Romance language for nothing. Technically speaking, of course, the designation has less to do with the sexy syllables than it does with origins in the Roman Empire, but that's just splitting etymological hairs. Get some help conjugating those verbs -- wink, nudge -- during the Valentine's Day-themed festivities this Thursday at Pistache French Bistro. The restaurant is offering a French Kiss Party with music by DJ German Garcia, aphrodisiac cocktails, and a kissing booth (ooh la la). The kitchen, meanwhile, will serve a special three-course menu with selections like seared jumbo scallops, filet au poivre, burgundy escargots, and crème brûlée. Vegetarian options are available. The French Kiss Party begins at 10 p.m. Thursday at Pistache French Bistro, located at 101 N. Clematis St. in West Palm Beach. The Valentine's Day menu is offered from 5:30 p.m. on and costs $59 per person, plus tax and tip. Call 561-833-5090, or visit pistachewpb.com.
