Right Side of the Track

AR Gallery will celebrate its grand opening Thursday with wine, hors d'oeuvres, and a meet and greet with exhibiting artists and gallery owner Amy Reshefsky. This is the first of ten exhibitions slated for the new warehouse-style gallery and studio space in Delray's Artists Alley. The reception will run from 6 to 9:30 p.m. The opening exhibition -- titled "Amy and Josh by the Railroad Track" -- highlights abstract works from Reshefsky and Massachusetts native Joshua von Nonn. While Reshefsky often works with bright and saturated hues inspired by Florida's tropical clime, von Nonn creates pieces in a darker and more structured style one would expect from an engineer turned artist. "Amy and Josh..." runs through March 10. AR Gallery is located in the Pineapple Grove Arts District at 340 NE Fourth St. in Delray Beach. Call 561-444-9989, or visit amyreshefskygallery.com.
