Sense the Humor

Comedian Sebastian Maniscalco’s humor exposes all the things you probably think about when encountering the ridiculousness of everyday life in our modern world. Unforgivingly sarcastic, Maniscalco’s approach to comedy is comparable to that of a young Jerry Seinfeld. His comedy career began like many others who have moved out to Los Angeles to chase the dream, as his rise to fame started with free comedy performances at local clubs, bowling alleys, and bars while working as a waiter at a Four Seasons in Beverly Hills. From his former days of being booed offstage as the “Sandman,” Maniscalco’s hard work has earned him sold-out concerts worldwide; a Comedy Central special, Sebastian Live!; and appearances on award-winning series such as The Savages, The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson, Tim Meadows’ The Very Funny Show, and Comedy Central’s Premium Blend. Maniscalco’s signature comedic style is so good that it influenced Vince Vaughn to feature him in his critically acclaimed film Wild West Comedy Show, where he joined other famous comedians like Justin Long, Jon Favreau, and Keir O’Donnell. Thanks to his varied experience and opportunities to work with a variety of comedic and entertainment legends, Maniscalco is quickly joining the ranks. Catch Maniscalco at 8 and 10:30 p.m. Friday, at 7 and 9:45 p.m. Saturday, and at 7 p.m. Sunday at the Palm Beach Improv, 550 S. Rosemary Ave., Suite 250, in West Palm Beach. Ages 21 and older.
