Shape Up

Aside from a few notable exceptions - we're looking at you, Fat Albert - cartoon characters are generally in great physical shape. Today, kids are six to 14 can join their favorite, animated characters for Get Animated, a day of physical fitness education and fun sponsored by the Cartoon Network. Kids can get fit and take part in wall climbing, a soccer challenge, a bicycle race, and basketball drills, plus they'll learn a bit about how to read nutritional information on product packages and make healthy food choices for themselves.
