Miami's Design District is not the only place to see and celebrate high-end fashion. Homegrown in South Florida, Asst Clothing is ready to demonstrate its success with its first fashion event. Known for exuding urban couture, the debut of Asst Clothing's Fall/Winter 2013 Collection will combine a fashion show with a live band and performances from some of South Florida's hottest artists. With that in mind, the event is also being publicized as "The Art of Sound Music Fest." While X102.3's DJ Dundada and DJ Muhnee will take care of the ambiance throughout the night, showgoers will also be graced with the likes of BDR, Enfluence, Panaricans, the SkyyWalkerz, Uncut Diamonds, and Yung Tarzan x Dimitri Dutch. Given the influx of notable local artists, you're going to want to show up early! Rather than dashing to South Beach after the fashion show/concert ends, Asst Clothing will continue to rock the night by hosting an afterparty that won't make you think twice about staying. Conveniently located in the same venue, ladies get first dibs with an open bar from 11 p.m. to midnight. Showgoers also have the option of enlisting table service offering a variety of bottle specials. What more could you ask for? Get a glimpse of this fall's latest trends on Saturday at Dapur Asian Tapas and Lounge, located at 1620 N. Federal Highway, Fort Lauderdale. The fashion show/concert is from 8:30 to 11:30 p.m. The afterparty is from 11:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. To purchase presale tickets, visit asstclothing.com or eventbrite.com. Presale tickets cost $15 for general admission and $30 for VIP. Tickets at the door are $20. Only for those 21 and up after 11 p.m.
Sat., Sept. 14, 8:30-11:30 p.m., 2013
