If you've realized during beach volleyball games that your skills aren't quite up to par with what you'd like, you can refine them or take some tips from the pros at the Dig the Beach Open Volleyball Tournament on Fort Lauderdale Beach this Saturday and Sunday. The event is open to adults and juniors ages 10 to 18, with divisions in each. Adult divisions include professional, semipro, amateur, and coed amateur. The junior divisions are 18 and under, 16 and under, 14 and under, and 12 and under. There is pool play and playoffs for adults and juniors. The adult tournament begins Saturday with check-in bright and early at 7:30 and 7:45 a.m. Juniors will play on Sunday, with their check-in at 7:30 and 8:15 a.m. Registration, open until noon Thursday, is available online or onsite.
