Stained Glasses

In South Florida, the Irish are celebrated on one day in March with dyed beer, leprechauns, and bagpipes. While all of these things are important, and most of them are uniquely Irish, they actually don’t fully encapsulate all that the Emerald Isle has to offer. Let’s not forget the relatively bland cooking, Mr. Flatley, Dennis Leary, and stained glass. The Coral Springs Museum of Art is featuring one of those things in their newest exhibit. “The Light Fantastic” is a traveling collection of the finest stained glass the Irish have to offer with themes ranging from the overtly political and religious to quaint musings on everyday life.

Come gain a whole new appreciation for Irish culture from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 2855 Coral Springs Dr. in Coral Springs. Five bucks gets you in the door. Call 954-340-5000, or visit csmart.org.
