The Comedy of Larry King

Larry King prepared less to talk to more people than anybody. Occasionally, when he sat down to chit-chat with somebody he knew a lot about during his 26-year run on CNN -- like Marlon Brando, say -- his interviews were magic. When he interviewed Brando, he was starstruck, and the pair wound up sharing an honest-to-goodness kiss. He tells that smooch's story in his live show, "Standing Up!," which he performs at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on Tuesday (1 Seminole Way, Hollywood), and he tells the story awesomely. Reportedly, the show's a whole lot of fun. If the man hadn't snoozed through 90 percent of his other interviews on Larry King Live, maybe it could have been even better.
