The Dream Before Christmas

Say adieu to the candy-corn nightmare before Christmas because Halloween’s over. Now, the season of magical trees, potential eggnog overdoses, and whimsical dreams of dancing sugar plums approaches, and this season waits for no one. It’s time to turn dough into holiday cookies, evergreen conifers into Christmas trees, and weird giant socks into stockings. Get a holiday buzz at Cirque Dreams: Holidaze — and St. Nicholas doesn’t even need to drug your eggnog. ’Twas the cirque dream before Christmas, when all through the Hard Rock Live, all the creatures were stirring, even the Christmas ornaments. On tap is a 24-foot-tall magical tree, whose ornaments, by invoking the holiday spirit, come to life! Gingerbread men flip through the air, and toy soldiers march on thin wire. Penguins spin, reindeer soar, puppets carol. And snowmen… Well, we’re not quite sure what the snowmen are doing. Performances run today through Saturday, November 7. Tonight’s show starts at 8. Tickets range from $38 to $68. Find Hard Rock Live at 1 Seminole Way in Hollywood. Visit
Wed., Nov. 4, 8 p.m.; Fri., Nov. 6, 8 p.m.; Sun., Nov. 8, 7 p.m., 2009
