We could plug Unwigged and Unplugged featuring Christopher Guest, Michael McKean, and Harry Shearer quite easily, but perhaps it’s better to turn it over to Spinal Tap’s Nigel Tufnel: “Yes, hello? Is this mic turned up to 11? I rather like Miami. I remember when we played the Marine Stadium back in ΄81. Mid-way through “Saliva of the Fittest,” a sea monster surfaced out of Biscayne Bay and ate three chicks dancing on a cigarette boat. I spent two nights in jail after the authorities claimed I’d summoned the beast with the harmonies coming from my solo; which of course I did, but you can’t exactly dust for harmonies. Tuesday’s show is inside the Fillmore (1700 Washington Avenue, Miami Beach) and it’s acoustic, so no need to worry about sea monsters. Maybe druids, though, if they have good fake IDs. We’ll be throwing in a bit of the slow stuff for the wrinkled crowd - you know, the folksy bits from A Mighty Wind. Crap movie that was, but you’ve got to make the $34.50 quid entry fee worth it, I guess.” Unwigged and Unplugged starts at 8 p.m. Visit livenation.com, or call 305-673-7300.
