The Other Fergie

It’s not often that you get a chance to see a host from a late-night network television program talk fraternity live and in-person. Craig Ferguson will hit the stage at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Coral Springs Center for the Arts (2855 Coral Springs Drive in Coral Springs). Ferguson, who just might be the only late-night host without an ax to grind with NBC, took over the Late Late Show in 2005 — after roles on ABC’s Maybe This Time and The Drew Carey Show. Aside from his success on the small screen, the Scottish-born comic has developed a cult following with his standup routine. His rants on celebrities and Hollywood get major burn on YouTube, and his impression of Scottish national treasure Sean Connery? Spot on. Other factoids: He’s directed several feature films and wrote a New York Times bestseller. Tickets cost $54.06 and can be purchased at coralspringscenterforthearts.com or by calling 954-344-5990.
