Watch out, Wynwood. There is another art walk in South Florida that is starting to give you a run for your money. Honoring the plentiful local creative businesses and artists that reside in and around downtown Fort Lauderdale, FAT Village is hosting its monthly art walk to feature new and existing galleries and exhibitions. With such a list to choose from, you will get lost in the artistic and technological innovation bursting at the seams for this specific art walk. Look out for the following: The Projects, North, featuring the special interactive exhibition “Game Show”; “A Railroad Runs Through It,” which is a community engagement event for public art ideas; the Cadence Pop-Up Gallery, consisting of two exhibitions; and the Guild 5 Forty Five’s special exhibition, “Silk Sculptures,” by guest artist Erin Basset.
