Trick-Or-Treat On K Street

Got kids? The Downtown Cultural Alliance of Lake Worth has you covered. On Friday evening, the DCA will hold, in its words, a "freaky family Friday of fantasy, fright, and fun" for Halloween. It'll be blocking off K Street in downtown Lake Worth for all this freaky, frightening, fantastic fun. Pumpkins, hay bales, and entertainment stages galore will set the mood, and shops and restaurants all along K Street will be participating with special holiday treats geared toward kids. Starting at 6 p.m. in the Lake Worth Cultural Plaza, 414 Lake Ave. in Lake Worth, just off K Street, costume contests will judge your kiddies as well as your pets, so bring the whole family dressed for the occasion. There's an annual pig-kissing too -- like a real pig getting kissed on the snout -- so don't forget your breath mints. Lake Worth Halloween festivities will take place Friday 5 to 10 p.m. It's a free event. Call 215-205-9441.
