For eight years, there has been a steady spot for Wednesdays and booze in West Palm Beach. Within two miles of downtown, in the El Cid district, lies a 43-room historic boutique hotel. The fancy say this building was built in likeness of Bermudas vernacular architecture. Whether you agree or would rather use the words 1940s Bahamas colonial-style building makes no difference to us: Either way, within these walls holds a legendary bar. And inside that chic bar, along with the imported teak furnishings, there are wines, champagne, beers, and premium liquor. Were sure the Wednesdays nights have changed there throughout the years, but for eight earth rotations, patrons have gone there to drink so lets give you the lowdown of what goes down now. From 9 to 2 a.m., there is a Wednesday Night Champagne Party to the musical backdrop of tunes provided by their house DJ. But no matter how drunk you get or what year it is, you can always seek solace in the familiar Asian garden that lies outside the deco bar and, as always, you can try not to fall into the 50-foot lap pool.
