Every great athlete needs a nemesis - someone to push the competition, to force each competitor to do their best. For surfing, that great rivalry was between Andy Irons and Kelly Slater. The film A Fly in the Champagne explores the overwhelming tension between the two, and the heights they were able to push each other to reach. It screens today at Cinema Paradiso.
