Being an adult is stressful business. You work (if not, we're not talking to you). You cook (ramen, at the very least). You clean (hopefully). You pay bills. You maintain an active dating and social life. Though it may not sound like that much, it's all-consuming and can be a lot to handle. On the up side, you're allowed, as a grownup, to drink. You might as well take advantage of legal alcohol consumption. Keep it classy this Thursday at the Museum of Art Fort Lauderdale's Art of Wine and Food Series. As part of the ongoing celebration of the culinary arts, this week's event is focusing on France's Loire Valley. From 6 to 8 p.m., certified sommelier and wine educator Stephanie Miskew will discuss the vinos from the well-known French appellation while the guest chef pairs snacks to match. The cost to attend is $40 per person, $35 for members at the patron level or above. Reservations are required, and space is extremely limited. The Museum of Art is located at 1 E. Las Olas Blvd. in Fort Lauderdale. Call 954-525-5500, or visit moafl.org.
