World Cup: England vs. USA

Photographs on the bar indicate George Michael has called it a “Fantastic Pub. Love the Toilets.” Kate Moss has supposedly said, “Loved the lettuce. But the Coke was a little flat.” And the celebrity trifecta wouldn’t be complete without Bono saying, “With food like that, U2 could be famous one day.” Who put these hilarious words in these celebrities’ mouths? The staff at Kingshead British Pub in Sunrise. This joking manner and good cheer permeates the bar, which offers more than 50 ales, ciders, stouts, and beers, including ESB (Kingshead Pub is one of only two establishments in the area that offers it). Take in these good vibes while you watch the World Cup, especially if you consider the sporting event an all-day celebration: doors open at 7 a.m. The place is cozy enough that no matter where you land, you’ll surely be able to see the game on one of three flat screens. And when England plays the United States Saturday at 2 p.m., you’d be hard-pressed to find a rowdier bar for the event.
