The event is called The Whisky Extravaganza. Doesn’t it sound beautiful? Well, it will be. This one is for the true whisky enthusiast, with opportunities to explore single malts, premium Scotch and whiskies from around the world. Additionally, there will be masterclasses on-site, with topics covering flavor profiles and various brands throughout the industry. Come ready to absorb some knowledge (and whisky!) and, please, take an Uber. 7:30 p.m. on Thursday at Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa, 3030 Holiday Dr., Fort Lauderdale; thewhiskyextravaganza.com. Tickets are $135 to $185.

For being so damn nice all year-round, this region has a major shortage of quality miniature golf courses. But, fortunately, we do have Putt’n Around in Delray Beach. On Thursday, and throughout the month of December, bring in an unwrapped gift for Toys for Tots and get a free spin on the course’s prize wheel. Prizes include booze, a pass for 36 free holes of golf and food. Throughout the month, the course will be garbed in holiday lights and decorations, too. 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Thursday and daily throughout December at Putt’n Around Delray Beach, 350 NE Fifth Ave., Delray Beach; puttnaround.net. $11 for 18 holes.

Sunday

Haven’t experienced a Christkindlmarkt yet? Well, this German tradition has only been around since the 1500s, so get moving already. The American German Club of the Palm Beaches will host its version of the massive, holiday-themed market this weekend. For kids, there will be ornament workshops, gingerbread decorating and coloring activities. For adults, there will be imported German beer and Gluhwein, a hot spiced wine. For everyone, there will be yummy treats including brats, schnitzels and other German delights. Prost! 2 to 10 p.m. on Saturday and 1 to 9 p.m. on Sunday at The American German Club, 5111 Lantana Rd., Lake Worth; eventbrite.com. Adult admission is $8.

A Raspberry Margarita Gose just sounds delicious. And, it’s that much more delicious when local brewer Barrel of Monks makes it and it's super-exclusive. You can taste the deliciousness during a special launch event on Sunday at any of Legends Tavern and Grille’s three locations. To celebrate the beer’s arrival (which will only be available at Legends after Sunday), there is a yummy brunch menu, with cereal crunch chicken and waffles, avocado smash toast, a Hangover Havana sandwich, and more. The first 25 guests at each Legends location will receive a $25 restaurant gift card for their next visit. Score! 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday at Legends Tavern and Grille locations in Deerfield Beach (1391 S. Military Trail), Sunrise (10079 W. Oakland Park Blvd.) and Lighthouse Point (3128 N. Federal Hwy.); legendstavernandgrille.com. Admission is free and pricing of brunch items varies.

Monday

No, Generation Axe isn’t the name of a new body spray. It is, however, one hell of a supergroup comprised of some of the best guitarists on planet Earth. Consisting of Steve Vai, Zakk Wylde, Yngwie Malmsteen, Nuno Bettencourt and Tosin Abisi, this band may very well burn the whole damn house down at Hard Rock Live on Monday. You’ll be left wanting a guitar lesson (or 100) after witnessing it. 8 p.m. on Monday at Hard Rock Live, 1 Seminole Way, Hollywood; ticketmaster.com. Tickets are $50 to $90.
