The Air and Sea Show hits the beach Saturday morning when a team of U.S. Navy and Marine Corps forces literally sack the shore. That's followed by dozens of military and civilian flybys, aerial acrobatics, and parachute team demonstrations happening continually over the two days. Meanwhile, at SunFest, their crack lineup of has-beens, never-weres, and Nelly will be a bleak reminder of how sad it is when performers don't realize when they've jumped the shark.
Back on the beach, beautiful babes soak up the sun as the most advanced fighter jet in the world, the F-22 Raptor, is unveiled. Also, the world-renowned Air Force Thunderbirds will perform their breathtaking routine of high-speed aerial stunts. SunFest-goers will be stuck ogling overweight, middle-aged mortgage brokers screaming for the Steve Miller Band to rock "Abracadabra." If you're jonesing for live entertainment, actor Kevin Bacon's band the Bacon Brothers will perform at the Air and Sea Show at 7 p.m. Saturday, followed by fireworks at 9 p.m. The only fireworks at SunFest will be when Brian McKnight and Starship bomb.
