Tina Turner's roller-coaster life is always filled with ups and downs. She's been to the R&B mountaintop with megahits like "Proud Mary" and "What's Love Got to Do With It," and she has dwelled in the valley of despair during a knockdown, drag-out marriage to former music partner Ike Turner, who passed away earlier this year. Regardless of the highs and lows, one thing is certain: Tina Turner is a survivor. She hasn't given up on her gift of sharing music, and in turn, her global fan base is huge. It's a big part of why many regard her, to Aretha Franklin's dismay, as the real Queen of Soul. At age 68, Turner is in the midst of yet another world tour, and although this one may not bring as much of a career resurgence as she enjoyed in the early '90s, it's impressive that she can still move and groove like a diva. It's unclear how much longer Turner will be around, but her two-night stint in South Florida this week shouldn't be missed if you're a fan of her songs or of soul music in general.
