No need to give you the details on Huey Lewis' semi-illustrious pseudocareer. You know all the highlights, which center mainly around 1983's Sports, '86's Fore!, and the slew of damnably hummable, soundtrack-ready, radio-dominating hits they spawned. Since that time, Lewis has made a comfy living as a county fair and casino headliner, staying out of the limelight and on the links around Marin County, which he's always called home. Even though 2001's Plan B actually harkened to his glory days, which were filled with bar mitzvah-rockin' R&B and Lewis' trademark harmonica, he's still stayed off the radar, as happily innocuous as ever. And speaking of happily innocuous, Mizner Park is the launching point for his latest cross-country ramble. Bring a couple of lawn chairs and a bottle of Chardonnay and you'll swear you were in Sausalito.

Huey Lewis and the News play at 8 p.m. Friday, April 9, at Mizner Park Amphitheater, 590 Plaza Real, Boca Raton. Tickets cost $33.50 to $43.50. Call 561-966-3309.
